Virginia State Police Releases 2018 Annual Report

The Virginia State Police Insurance Fraud Program (IFP) released its 2018 Annual Report, which details the efforts made in the fight against insurance fraud in the Commonwealth.

There were 2,022 cases of suspected insurance fraud received in Virginia in 2018, and over $13 million worth of fraudulent claims were attempted. Fraudulent claims collected totaled $3.6 million.
