Virginia State Police Releases 2021 Annual Report

The Virginia State Police Insurance Fraud Program (IFP) released its 20121 Annual Report, which details the efforts made in the fight against insurance fraud in the commonwealth.

There were 1,620 cases of suspected insurance fraud received in Virginia in 2021, and nearly $8 million worth of fraudulent claims were attempted. Fraudulent claims collected totaled $3.5 million.
