Recognizing the Best

The Virginia State Police Insurance Fraud Program recognizes those individuals who go the extra mile to stamp out fraud in the commonwealth.

The annual Fraud Fighters Award program was developed in 2003 to assist in stemming the growing incidence of insurance fraud in Virginia by recognizing individuals for their special efforts in insurance fraud reduction. The award is sponsored by the Virginia State Police Insurance Fraud Program.

Anyone who has made exemplary efforts in helping reduce insurance fraud in Virginia is eligible for the award

To be considered for an award, nominees must:

  • Be a member of an insurance company’s fraud investigation unit, a commonwealth’s attorney or a member of Virginia’s law enforcement community.
  • Contributions to Stamp Out Fraud in Virginia must be in the areas of property, casualty or Workers’ Compensation lines of insurance.

Awards will be presented at the VA IASIU Annual Seminar, on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at the DoubleTree by Hilton, 1021 Koger Center Boulevard, Richmond, VA 23235.
