The Virginia State Police Insurance Fraud Program presents the annual Fraud Fighter Awards to individuals who make exemplary contributions to help stamp out fraud across the Commonwealth. In order to be considered for a Fraud Fighter Award, the following criteria must be met:
- Nominees must be a member of an insurance company’s fraud investigation unit, a commonwealth’s attorney or a member of Virginia’s law enforcement community.
- Nominations should provide in-depth information about how the nominee contributed to the investigation or prosecution of insurance fraud in Virginia.
