Recognizing the Best

The Virginia State Police Insurance Fraud Program recognizes those individuals who go the extra mile to stamp out fraud in the commonwealth.

The annual Fraud Fighter Awards program was developed in 2003 to assist in stemming the growing incidence of insurance fraud in Virginia by recognizing individuals for their special efforts in insurance fraud reduction. The award is sponsored by the Virginia State Police Insurance Fraud Program.

Anyone who has made exemplary efforts in helping reduce insurance fraud in Virginia is eligible for the award. However, to be considered for an award, nominees must be a member of an insurance company’s fraud investigation unit, a commonwealth’s attorney or a member of Virginia’s law enforcement community.

This year’s awards will be presented at the VAIASIU Annual Training Seminar on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at the DoubleTree by Hilton, 1021 Koger Center Boulevard, Richmond, VA 23235.
