Captain Frank A. Williams, commander of the Insurance Fraud Division (IFD) of the Virginia State Police and assistant director of the Bureau of Criminal Investigations (right), and Wade Wickre, president of the Virginia Chapter of the International Association of Special Investigation Units (VAIASIU), were presented the Governor’s Proclamation declaring May 9 - 15 as Insurance Fraud Awareness Week. The presentation, which recognizes the IFD’s commitment to stamping out insurance fraud in the commonwealth, was made during the annual VAIASIU Fraud Seminar in Richmond, May 12.
